"Hi, I'm Andy... and I'm a Rushaholic!"

Andy Faulkner was ensnared by music when he was in his early teens during the late 70’s. Hearing it was one thing, seeing it live was another altogether. Concert halls and rock clubs soon became his natural environment.

Immersed in progressive and what is now known as classic rock, one band rose above all others and a lifelong obsession with Rush was born. Finding My Way is the story of that obsession.

Inspired by Geddy Lee, Andy has played bass for over forty years, writing and performing in multiple bands. His first professional standard bass was, naturally, a black Rickenbacker 4001. His ever-expanding collection now boasts several Geddy Lee signature Fender Jazz basses.

Andy is currently a member of the British rock band Jump and Marquee Square Heroes, a tribute to Fish-era Marillion.

For nearly a decade, he was also one of the driving forces behind the UK based Classic Rock Society, dedicated to promoting and supporting the best new and established music on the scene.

Highlights of a long playing career include an unforgettable stint with the 80’s progressive rock legends Twelfth Night. As well as playing the prestigious NEARfest festival in the USA, Andy recorded the “Sequences” album in 2018.

Although Rush are no more, and Andy laments that fact every day of his life, his passion for music is undiminished. His true home will forever be either on a stage or standing right in front of one soaking in another great band’s performance.
